I almost ignored @Sleepagotchi again this morning. Then I remembered the 78% stat: apparently, most users open the app within 10 minutes of waking up. At first, I thought that was just another retention metric. After using the app more, I see why that window matters. Your morning check-in is not simply about collecting points. It gives the Sleep Coach the freshest snapshot of what happened overnight, while the context is still actually relevant. That same data can feed into the wider wellness loop too: > Wellness Coach can understand how the night affected the rest of your day > Meal Planner gets better context around your current state > Shopping Agent can work from the signals coming out of that routine You can obviously open the app hours later. The history is still there. But the experience changes. At lunch, you're looking backward at last night's sleep. Right after waking up, you're giving the system a chance to respond while the information still feels connected to how you're actually starting the day. That's the part I underestimated. I keep telling myself: "I'll log it later." Then later arrives, the day gets noisy, and I'm basically reconstructing my morning from memory. The points aren't the interesting part for me anymore. The consistency of the data is. So yeah, that first ten-minute habit suddenly makes a lot more sense. The question is whether I actually remember to do it tomorrow.
