"Accepted" on GenLayer does not mean the result was right. It means the jury agreed. I have signed off on calls I already thought were wrong, simply because the window was closing and whoever's name ended up on the decision wasn't going to change. I like that @GenLayer's Optimistic Democracy gives a sign-off a window to be challenged before it becomes final. For every question, the network draws a jury at random. Each juror is a validator running a different AI model, with stake on the line. One proposes an answer, the rest rerun the work and vote independently. If they agree, the verdict applies straight away. But then a window opens for anyone to challenge it. Every appeal doubles the jury, bringing in validators who have not voted yet. Vote right and you earn. Vote wrong and you lose your stake. That is what makes a verdict hard to buy: influence over today's jury doesn't automatically carry into the next appeal.
