After delivering food for so long, I’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon: Just by looking at the address and notes, you can roughly guess someone’s personality. First type: Address is extremely detailed, note says, “Just leave it at the door, no need to call.” These people have strong personal boundaries and are considerate of others. They know delivery riders are pressed for time and don’t want to cause inconvenience. They’re usually easy to get along with, make great partners, and rarely leave negative reviews for riders. Second type: Even though they know the rider can’t reach their floor, they write in the notes, “Must deliver to my door, or I’ll complain and leave a bad review.” These people tend to be self-centered and lack empathy. Interacting with them is exhausting, and they’re not ideal partners. Third type: Live on the 7th or 8th floor, note says, “Please call when you arrive—I’ll come down to get it.” These individuals are inherently kind and deeply considerate of others. In real life, they’re often called “pushovers,” a term that sounds ordinary—but I truly admire people like this. Fourth type: Address is very detailed, and the note adds, “Please drive safely, I’m not in a hurry—your safety matters.” These people are naturally gentle. They don’t want to burden others, yet they go out of their way to comfort the rider. In life, they’re usually well-mannered and warm-hearted. Which type of customer are you?
