Zcash now has its own CryptoPunks? 10,000 zkSNARKs officially launch as a privacy-preserving blind auction. zkSNARKs @zksnarks_ is bringing NFT identity culture to Zcash. The project defines itself as a collection of encrypted identities stored on the Zcash blockchain, aiming to establish a distinct cultural layer on Zcash beyond its privacy-focused assets. The total supply is 10,000, with 8,000 allocated for public auction, 1,000 reserved for SNARKLIST, and 1,000 assigned to the Treasury. The public auction opens on September 15 at 12:00 ET (16:00 UTC). All bids enter a unified competitive pool; the top 8,000 bids win zkSNARKs and are settled at a single clearing price. All unsuccessful bids will be refunded. Previously, the project opened access to SNARKLIST @snarklist, granting eligible users approved through review the right to claim 1,000 allocations. The public application period has closed, but the list remains open for ongoing review, and existing SNARKLIST members can still nominate new applicants.
