Coldcard Hacker Just Moved 45% of the Stolen Bitcoin!! The attacker behind the third wave of the Coldcard wallet exploit has now moved around 45% of the Bitcoin stolen in that attack, according to Galaxy Research. The hacker began moving some of the Bitcoin to Ethereum through THORChain on September 2. More recently, some of the stolen Bitcoin was sent through CoinJoin, a method that combines transactions from different users, making it more difficult to follow where individual coins came from. Researchers say the attacker had created 293 multisignature vaults to hold victims’ funds and has now moved Bitcoin from the 11 largest vaults.
