I discovered an inaccuracy in my post that needs to be corrected. BIP361 doesn’t “exempt” P2TR. It sunsets all outputs using ECDSA and Schnorr signatures, including P2TR and even P2MR. It assumes P2MR will implement new QC resistant signatures in the future. But my concern still holds. It would force everything into a Tapscript only world.
