With v0.7.0, zecd can now be integrated directly as a library into Rust applications. Developers can run a Zcash node within their applications to more easily build wallets and other Zcash tools. ⚡ Performance has been significantly improved in v0.8.0: • Synchronization is up to 5x faster • A test wallet that previously took over 18 hours to sync now synchronizes in approximately 10 minutes • Memo synchronization can be optionally disabled • Tor and Nym are supported via SOCKS5 • Experimental Fleet Mode enables tracking multiple watch-only wallets from a single background process • Transitioned to the high-performance Zakura Common library Zecd also enables developers to start building on Zcash without running a local node: https://t.co/yzCkULbigS.
