Zakura releases Zcash cryptography libraries built to slash shielded transaction wait times Zakura (@ZakuraZcash), the team behind the @Zcash full node that launched in July, published its open-source Zakura Common libraries, claiming proof generation more than 14x faster on mobile and over 5x faster on desktop. Shielded wallets currently wait over three seconds to build a transaction, versus under 200 milliseconds with the new code. No network upgrade is required, and the libraries are available now under MIT and Apache licenses. Zakura's upcoming 1.3.0 release and the Tachyon scaling project are both switching to the stack. $ZEC
