FungoLabs is solving one of the oldest design flaws in NFTs. @FungoLabs On public chains, metadata has always been fully transparent. Traits, rarity, and artwork are visible the moment an NFT is minted. This makes fair reveals, sealed auctions, and hidden-information gameplay extremely difficult. By building on Zama’s FHEVM, FungoLabs encrypts the NFT itself on Ethereum. The contract can still generate, compare, and settle data it can never read. The artwork (the “Look”) remains private unless the holder chooses to publish it, while the core attributes (the “Essence”) stay encrypted permanently. This enables a true sealed-bid auction in cZAMA, where bids remain hidden until the end and every winner pays the same clearing price. It also opens the door to on-chain games where stats stay private yet outcomes are still verifiable. For the first time, an NFT can keep a secret without sacrificing on-chain ownership or composability.
