What happened last night? 🌝 🏦 The OCC has published the final rule implementing the GENIUS Act on stablecoins. It establishes reserve, redemption, and capital requirements for issuers under its supervision. The rule softens certain reserve constraints and evaluates third-party reward programs on a case-by-case basis. Effective January 18, 2027. 🚀 SpaceX and Tesla have formed independent committees to explore a potential merger, which would consolidate approximately 30,221 BTC held by both companies. No agreement has been reached. Musk is not involved in the discussions. 🔗 Updates to the #XRP Ledger remain scheduled for activation this Friday.
