Institutions aren't asking "is XRPL safe?" anymore. They're asking "can you prove the token is safe?" That's a different question and most of the tooling isn't ready for it. Watched a compliance team kill a perfectly legit XRPL integration last month because nobody could hand them a structured risk summary. The token had a blackholed issuer, verified domain, clean holder distribution. But that data was scattered across 4 different explorers and they weren't going to stitch it together manually. The ledger was fine. The presentation layer failed. That's what institutional adoption actually runs into. Not skepticism about XRP, not technical blockers. It's the gap between what the chain proves and what a compliance officer can hand to their legal team.
