Most tokenisation projects pick a chain based on vibes and gas fees. That's it. Nobody's stress-testing settlement finality, nobody's checking what happens when a freeze dispute hits. XRPL's real edge isn't the fee structure. It's that the compliance controls are native. Freeze authority, require auth, transfer rates, these aren't bolted-on smart contracts waiting to have a bug found. They're first-class transaction types baked into the protocol. I've seen teams build the same logic in Solidity and spend months auditing it. On XRPL it's a flag you set at issuance. The counter-argument is always "but no smart contracts." Fair. But most tokenisation use cases don't actually need arbitrary execution. They need reliable settlement, issuer controls, and provable supply. XRPL ships all three without a separate audit budget. That's the part most teams miss when they're choosing a chain.
