The programme's work with @HSBC, @StanChart, and @Ripple underscored Hong Kong's growing role in programmable payments, tokenized assets, and institutional digital finance. HKMA's post-pilot direction is now clearly institutional and wholesale by nature. After concluding the e-HKD pilot, it said the immediate priority is wholesale payments, tokenization support, and cross-border settlement, while it continues building the foundations 🇭🇰
