🇯🇵SBI CEO Yoshitaka Kitao announced that SBI Ripple Asia has launched a token issuance platform on the XRP Ledger. The company also received regulatory approval in Japan to issue prepaid payment tokens, meaning it can now legally offer tokenized payment instruments. SBI is now both technically and legally ready to roll out blockchain-based financial services using #XRPL.
