Thunes, a Ripple partner, has confirmed the indirect connection between the digital XRP Ledger and the traditional SWIFT network, whether through Thunes or other entities; Every bank or financial institution holds the sovereign right to choose the blockchain (DLT) network it wishes to use for transferring and settling funds, using appropriate liquidity for settlement—it is a choice, not an obligation— ⬅️ (Thunes actually uses the XRP Ledger for transfers and $XRP as liquidity for settlement). This is a direct response and example to counter those who mock XRP and claim it has no real-world use 🥲; (There are other genuine examples, such as SBI Ripple Asia and more!)
