They don't pay you in USDT directly. Instead, they provide the Market Maker with USDT liquidity generated from selling THETA. The Market Maker then balances the Tfuel/USDT price so that you are actually able to sell your tokens. There is no other source of USDT entering the ecosystem except through this mechanism. Even with the recent launch of the Theta AI Agent, Theta Labs hasn't disclosed any financial details regarding profits or how the revenue from agent sales is being handled.
