Vangrid’s latest grid update reports more than 1.25 million captures and over $600,000 in USDC settled. Those numbers suggest the network is moving beyond a purely conceptual demo. Still, I’d separate activity from repeatable usefulness. The next question is whether different teams can keep finding practical reasons to request physical-world data, and whether the resulting datasets fit their actual workflows without excessive rework. That’s a different test from reaching a headline milestone. Infrastructure becomes more convincing when people return because it solves a recurring problem, not simply because the technology is new. For Vangrid, I’ll be interested in how usage develops across real applications over time—not just how quickly the headline numbers grow. @vangrid_io
