Seven days after receiving OCC approval, Circle’s co-founder stepped down from the board. Circle has announced two personnel changes: Co-founder Neville has resigned from the board, while CFO Fox-Geen will remain in his role until the end of the year. Circle cited personal reasons for Neville’s departure and characterized the change as part of routine board updates, without providing further details. Fox-Geen joined Circle in May 2021 and led the company’s $1.2 billion IPO in June 2025. His base annual salary is $500,000, and his separation agreement includes approximately $1.05 million in cash compensation, to be paid out over 12 months. The successor for CFO has not yet been identified.
