Been thinking about @vangrid_io a bit differently lately. At first I thought the interesting part was just turning phone captures into 3D data. But the bounty model makes more sense the more I look at it. Imagine an AI company suddenly needs a warehouse, a shop, a loading bay or some random room captured. Instead of waiting for someone to have already mapped that place, they can put up a bounty for that exact location. The reward is funded in USDC on Base, contributors do the capture, and the buyer pays for the result they actually need. That creates a pretty simple loop. Demand comes first, then the data gets created. I think that's more interesting than just building another giant map and hoping someone eventually finds it useful. Because the physical world changes all the time. A place that nobody cares about today could become important tomorrow. So maybe the real question for @vangrid_io isn't how many places it can capture. It's whether real demand can keep pulling new places into the network. That's the part I'm watching.
