Circle’s Arc mainnet just went live, and @Arguspad is already there trying to become the launchpad for the chain. But $ARGUS isn’t just another Pump fun clone. It lets anyone launch a token directly into a real Uniswap v4 pool, with liquidity locked forever from the first block. No bonding curve. No graduation phase. No migration from a launchpad into a DEX. Everything starts in the same market. The entire experience is built around USDC. You can browse tokens without connecting a wallet, while prices and volume are displayed in dollars. You only connect when you want to launch, trade or claim. But the interesting part is the fee structure. Creators can set buy and sell taxes, generally between 0% and 10%. From every taxed trade, 10% goes to Argus. The creator controls the other 90%, splitting it between four options: • USDC to the creator • Buybacks and burns • USDC dividends to holders • Additional liquidity That means the same launchpad can create completely different token economies. Route fees to dividends, and holders receive actual USDC from trading activity. Route them to burns, and supply decreases. Route them to LP, and the market gets deeper. The allocation is chosen at launch and shown publicly on the token page. Then there’s $ARGUS. This is the platform token, not the token launched by every project. 80% of Argus’ platform revenue is used to buy back and burn $ARGUS. The team has already been publicly burning tokens, with tens of millions removed since launch. That creates the part most launchpads are missing: More launches → more volume → more fees → more $ARGUS buybacks → less supply. The default quote asset is USDC, but Argus has already added alternate quote tokens, starting with $ARGUS. The longer-term plan is to support more assets, including stablecoins, major crypto assets, commodities, currencies and eventually stocks, but only where there is real native liquidity on Arc. No pretending an RWA exists because someone put a ticker on it. Argus was built by @rdbotato while Arc was still private and went live as one of the first native launchpads when Arc mainnet opened. The pitch is pretty straightforward: On a dollar-native chain, why should launching a token require a separate casino, bonding curve and liquidity migration? Argus puts the launch, market, liquidity and fee distribution into one system. “Every idea gets a seat.” The question now is whether Arc gets enough ideas to fill them.
