What caught my attention with @EthraShip today isn’t really the 100% apr boost it’s what happened underneath it usdc sitting in harbor has grown extremely fast since the 7 day window started and there are still 3 days left that tells me something about how people react when real world assets meet a short opportunity but there’s a bigger question here are people actually positioning around the maritime data thesis or are they simply chasing the temporary yield? because the interesting part of EthraShip goes beyond deposits SeaVerity is trying to build something around verified maritime intelligence ais can tell you where a vessel says it is but that doesn’t always tell you what is actually happening you still need things like - real world observations - vessel identity checks - port activity - imagery - data from independent nodes - detection of gaps or suspicious movement that’s where SHIP Protocol becomes important the financial layer can attract capital quickly but the data layer is what could create lasting value Harbor gives people a way to participate right now SeaVerity is the part i’m watching for the longer story so i’m curious when the 7 day window ends and the extra yield disappears how much of this capital stays because people believe in the infrastructure and how much leaves with the incentive?
