💵 UK-based payments platform Decta has begun using $USDC for internal treasury settlements across its 32 countries of operation. Through @OpenPayd's regulated financial infrastructure, Decta converts its own fiat into $USDC via OTC capabilities to support international operational settlements. "This is a proprietary treasury use case rather than a customer-facing payments flow," said OpenPayd CCO Lux Thiagarajah — funds move "near-instantly" across markets, bypassing traditional banking rails subject to cut-off times and multi-day value dates. Customer-facing payment services remain unchanged.
