New chains are flooding the market. They will all aim to grab a decent share of the market, but there's only so much liquidity to go around. We saw what a successful model looks like from @RobinhoodApp. Hint: proper PMF + existing user base. IMO, these have the highest chances to succeed: 1. @arc: Circle’s stablecoin-focused L1 ($222M raised) 2. @GIWA_by_Upbit: Upbit-backed ETH L2 ($1.22B raised) 3. Ondo Chain (Ondo has $46M raised) 4. @tempo: payments chain from Stripe and Paradigm ($500M raised) 5. @SeismicSys: Private stablecoin infra for fintech apps ($17M raised) @circle has USDC. @upbitglobal has exchange users. @Ondo has live financial products. @stripe has global payment flows. Seismic is quite the underdog on the list. I don't think the privacy bet alone will be enough to win against such strong competition. Strong product + sizeable distribution = winning formula. Let's see who comes out on top.
