Circle just got hit with a class action lawsuit. attackers drained $280M from @DriftProtocol. Then moved $230M in USDC through circle's own bridge. 100+ transactions, over several hours. @circle did nothing. Nine days earlier? They froze 16 unrelated business wallets in a civil case. Same technical ability. Totally different response. The question this lawsuit is asking is one the whole industry needs to answer. who is responsible when stablecoins become the exit route?
