Everyone must be vigilant against scams that exploit the issuance of x402-series tokens to make money through Mint mechanisms: 1) x402scan is merely a blockchain explorer. While it carries out some indexer functions, it lacks the capability to fully "vet" the terminal projects published on it. Its sole responsibility is to scan on-chain USDC transfers and display data. It does not endorse or host projects, nor can it guarantee the safety of any project. 2) Any new Mint endpoint must be **100% open-source** and verifiable on-chain. For example, it should publish its open-source library repo (e.g., on GitHub), utilize a multi-signature address for the Treasury, and ensure the refund logic for payments is executed on-chain. If these conditions are not met, it is a blatant payment scam—especially for projects that require large payments exceeding 1 USDC. We call upon security firms like **@SlowMist_Team**, **@evilcos**, and **@BlockSecTeam** to intervene. 3) x402 is essentially an AI payment protocol, not a token issuance protocol. The success of Ping was purely a stress test conducted by x402scan. This does not mean that upcoming projects will perform similarly. Do **not** FOMO. Do **not** FOMO. Do **not** FOMO. During the chaotic and turbulent emergence of new narratives, everyone must be extremely cautious and aware of security risks. Stay safe!
