IA13: TSLA SPCX Merger by Xmas??? Barclays has a hunch, but it is prob just an analyst's informed guess. Dan Levy wrote in a research note today that a Tesla and SpaceX merger announcement is possible before Tesla's annual meeting, which is likely held by December 6 at the latest. My reasoning why he maybe right 1) a merger this big needs a shareholder vote, and the annual meeting is the natural place to hold it. 2) investors already widely expect a deal. 3) combining the companies makes strategic sense as they already work together on so much stuff
