Tesla’s August European Registrations Diverge Sharply: France +279%, Norway -79% Tesla’s latest August registration data showed sharply different trends across Europe. Registrations increased 279% year over year in France and 104% in Denmark, while falling 79% in Norway and 41% in Sweden. Tesla’s European sales have begun recovering in parts of the region after two years of declines, but performance remains highly uneven across individual markets. August data from Germany and the UK, Europe’s two largest auto markets, are expected later this week. The strong rebounds in France and Denmark are encouraging, but they are not enough to confirm a broad European demand recovery. Germany and UK registrations will provide a much clearer test of whether Tesla’s improvement is becoming region-wide.
