𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐒 — 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌? Supplying is only one part of the lending experience. Understanding how withdrawals work is just as important. @DeFi_JUST allows suppliers to redeem their positions and withdraw underlying assets, subject to the relevant market’s liquidity and protocol requirements. For SBM V1, the process is connected to the jToken representation of your supplied position. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 Suppliers can redeem by specifying either:
• The number of jTokens they want to redeem.
• The exact amount of underlying assets they want to receive. These correspond to the protocol’s redeem and redeemUnderlying functions. But there are important conditions. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥? 🔹Available liquidity: The market must have sufficient underlying assets available for the requested withdrawal. 🔹Outstanding borrowing: If your supplied assets support active borrowing positions, withdrawing collateral may reduce your borrowing capacity. 🔹Account health: A withdrawal must not leave your account with an unacceptable shortfall under the applicable collateral rules. 🔹Market conditions: High utilization can limit the liquidity available for immediate withdrawals. SBM V2 has its own Vault withdrawal mechanics, so users should check the specific Vault and its connected markets rather than assume every V1 process applies identically. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 A supply position is not a guarantee of unlimited instant liquidity. Before supplying, understand how redemption works, check the market conditions and consider whether your assets are being used as collateral. Smart DeFi participation begins before the deposit — it begins with understanding how to exit responsibly. @justinsuntron @DeFi_JUST #TRONEcoStar
