$SYRUP Q2 2026 Recap 🔹 Maple became a top on-chain credit platform, briefly touching $5B+ in Assets Under Management (AUM) at an intra-quarter high in April, before closing H1 2026 officially at $4.6B AUM, up 81% year-over-year. 🔹 Maple's institutional lending hit a new record with loans outstanding reaching $1.9B, up 123% year-over-year, even as the broader DeFi lending market contracted 31% over the same period while Maple grew roughly 22%. 🔹 Under MIP-019 and MIP-020, 25% of protocol revenue was allocated to the Syrup Strategic Fund (SSF) to fund SYRUP buybacks and treasury reserves throughout Q1 and Q2 2026. 🔹 MIP-021 later activated a tiered, rules-based buyback mechanism: 10% of monthly revenue below $1.5M goes to buybacks, 20% between $1.5M-$2M, and 30% above $2M, running for six months with all repurchases logged on Maple's public Transparency page. 🔹 Maple joined the Global Dollar Network and launched syrupUSDG on July 2, its first new Syrup asset in two years, which now powers institutional yield inside Robinhood's new Earn product alongside Spark and Ethena. 🔹 Maple's total YTD originations hit $5.4 billion, with the protocol targeting over $100 billion in annual loan volume by 2030.
