SONIC REVEALS POST-QUANTUM PLAN FOR POS SECURITY Sonic (@SonicLabs) has introduced a roadmap aimed at preparing its blockchain for a post quantum future. The move addresses risks posed by quantum computers to current cryptography. Unlike other chains, Sonic does not depend on complex aggregation schemes. This removes a major barrier to adopting quantum resistant cryptography. According to Sonic, the proposed model only requires replacing per event and transaction signatures with a NIST standardized scheme. The approach could reduce costs and technical risks during migration.
