The hottest ETF sells part of its Samsung stake and buys CXMT. This week, Roundhill, a U.S.-based ETF manager, made significant portfolio adjustments to its DRAM-themed fund, reducing its position in Samsung Electronics while simultaneously purchasing shares of CXMT Storage. This marks the first time China’s leading memory manufacturer has been included in a mainstream U.S. DRAM investment product. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Roundhill cumulatively bought 65 million shares of CXMT Storage, causing its weighting in the DRAM ETF to rapidly rise to 2.47%. Meanwhile, from Monday to Wednesday, Roundhill sold approximately 1 million shares of Samsung Electronics each day, totaling 3 million shares over the three days.
