Last week I opened my SurfBoard and said two things: revenue would drop once trading volume slowed down, and the Surf team would probably reward supporters in other ways. A week later, both turned out to be true. The revenue side My board came out Common (#1142). It's holding $12.36 in assets right now, with an estimated $3.65 per week. During launch week, a Common looked like it would make around $20 a week. So volume dropped about as fast as I expected. Looking at the bigger picture: 2,914 boards have been opened (44% of supply), $57.5K in tokenized stocks has gone out to opened boards, which is about $19.74 per board on average. There are still 218 Legendary and 3 Mythic boards sealed. Since those carry much higher weights, Common shares will get a bit smaller as they get opened. The rewards side This is where it got interesting. Surf gave SurfBoard holders $50K in $PONS: - $35K to every opened board - $15K to a random 5% of opened boards Sealed boards got none of it. That was part of why I opened mine, and so far it's paid off. Price Board price dropped to around $140 early in the week, went up to $270, and is sitting around $237 now. Pool depth went from 17 ETH to 22 ETH, so there's real activity on the trading side. Where I stand The stock revenue alone doesn't look like it can justify the board price, and I thought that from the start. But as long as the team keeps rewarding opened boards on top of that, holding still makes sense to me. I'm keeping mine with a possible TGE in mind. Not financial advice. @SurfAIHQ
