JUST IN: Polygon plans to permanently burn 100 million $POL once its permissionless burn contract reaches mainnet. Polygon Foundation CEO Sandeep Nailwal says the burn is pending Security Council approval, after which the contract will allow anyone to trigger the permanent removal of the tokens.
