Markets often revisit these imbalances before continuing the trend. - FVG = An imbalance created by aggressive buying or selling. - Liquidity = Areas where stop-loss orders accumulate, typically above swing highs or below swing lows. How Smart Money uses liquidity: ➡️ Price often sweeps liquidity first by triggering retail stop-losses. ➡️ Once liquidity is collected, institutions frequently reverse price back into a Fair Value Gap. ➡️ The FVG acts as a high-probability area for continuation in the direction of the larger trend. How to trade it: ➡️ Identify equal highs or equal lows where liquidity is likely resting. ➡️ Wait for price to sweep that liquidity with a strong wick or breakout. ➡️ Mark the Fair Value Gap created during the move. ➡️ Look for price to retrace into the FVG. ➡️ Enter only after bullish or bearish confirmation inside the gap. ➡️ Target the next pool of opposing liquidity. Key concepts: ➡️ Liquidity sweeps are designed to trigger stop-losses before the real move begins. ➡️ Not every FVG will hold, combine it with market structure, trend, and confirmation. ➡️ The best setups occur when liquidity, FVGs, support/resistance, and momentum all align. ➡️ Always define your risk before entering and let price confirm your thesis.
