The company is slowly building an ecosystem around almost every layer of AI. And there's something brilliant about that strategy: You don't necessarily have to build the best AI. You can make money from everyone else trying to build it. OpenAI is building models. Google is building models. Anthropic is building models. Thousands of startups are building models.
