Capital allocation toward US equities is proceeding at an historically unprecedented pace. US equity ETFs have attracted approximately +$880 billion in net inflows year to date, placing 2026 on track to record the largest annual inflow in history. Even before year-end, cumulative inflows have already exceeded every prior full year total except the record established in 2025. Relative to previous market cycles, the acceleration is particularly striking. Net inflows are currently more than doublethe levels observed at the same point in both 2021 and 2025, reflecting a substantial increase in investor participation and capital commitment. Should this pace persist, annual ETF inflows would surpass +$1.4 trillion, exceeding the 2025 record of approximately +$920 billion by nearly $500 billion. These flows suggest that investor demand for US equities has reached a scale without historical precedent, reinforcing the dominant role of US capital markets as the primary destination for global portfolio allocation and highlighting the extraordinary depth of confidence in the long term earnings capacity of American corporations.
