Recently on RedChip's Webinar Series: NioCorp Developments (Nasdaq: NB) CEO Mark Smith breaks down a pricing gap he says is drawing growing attention in the critical minerals market. Smith states that scandium produced and sold within China currently runs roughly $800–$850 per kilogram, while scandium sold outside China trades between $3,000 and $6,500 per kilogram. He describes this as part of a broader bifurcation between Chinese and non-Chinese pricing across critical minerals, citing similar gaps in terbium and dysprosium, and says he expects the pattern to persist given how long it takes new non-Chinese supply projects to come online — reinforced, in his view, by Section 232 tariff authority and ongoing G7 pricing support discussions. 🔗 Learn more about NioCorp Developments: https://t.co/r92S6wDeYQ NioCorp Developments is a client of RedChip.
