So what does @cobie taking over Base App actually mean for Base and its memes? My read: he may be a better fit for the new trading-first Base App than Jesse—not because he is better overall, but because Jesse builds the rails while Cobie understands markets, attention, liquidity and what people actually want to trade. That should be bullish for memes. But Base memes should not expect automatic favoritism. Cobie may build the arena, improve discovery, simplify trading and bring more volume—but MIGGLES, TOSHI, KEYCAT, DOGINME, DEGEN and every other Base project will still have to earn their place. Honestly, that is healthier. And potentially much bigger.
