Meta Platforms unveiled a new palm-sized device designed to run its Muse artificial-intelligence agent, along with additional smart glasses, including a camera-free version, during Meta Connect 2026 in Menlo Park, California. The new handheld Muse Charm features a small display and 5G connectivity, allowing users to interact with Muse without a smartphone. It will go on sale in December. CEO Mark Zuckerberg also introduced new AI smart glasses, virtual-reality products and expanded plans for Muse. Zuckerberg said Muse could eventually become a personal superintelligence used by billions of people. Meta is offering the agent free access to a large number of tokens while planning to generate revenue through a small transaction fee. Users will also be able to customize Muse’s appearance and voice, with the agent closely integrated into Meta’s AI glasses. $META
