Anthropic is in early-stage talks with Meta to lease AI computing capacity in a deal that could reportedly be worth around $10 billion, according to The New York Times. The discussions underscore the intense competition among leading AI companies to secure access to Nvidia-powered infrastructure as demand for advanced models continues to outpace available computing resources. The talks come just weeks after Anthropic announced a similar agreement with SpaceX to use computing capacity at its Colossus 1 data center to support paid subscribers and expand the availability of its most advanced AI models. Anthropic has imposed usage limits on models such as Fable due in part to compute constraints. For Meta, the potential partnership aligns with CEO Mark Zuckerberg's strategy of turning the company's massive AI investments into new revenue streams. $META $ANTHZZX.P
