$LRCX has fallen nine sessions straight and just printed a new low. I lean long, but not here. I'm waiting for one more dip into the August swing-low zone, where selling pressure is already fading. The catch: this is a bounce setup inside a downtrend. Semis are sliding, price lost the 1-year average, and rates stay high. Why the long side still wins on balance: - The four technical methods split 2:2, so trade geometry breaks the tie. - The long keeps its stop outside the 12h swing low and still clears 2:1 to the first target. - A short needs a big bounce to fill, and a structural stop kills its reward. The August low, the lower volatility bands on 12h and 4h, and the projected end of the fifth down wave all stack in that zone. Divergence: on the 1h, 4h and 15m, price made a lower low while RSI held higher. But 12h and 1d still confirm downside momentum, so it's a short-term bounce signal only. These often finish with one more flush, which is why I wait lower. Where I'm wrong: a break below the August swing low, with the 1h and 4h divergence erased by a fresh low. Risks: earnings after the close on Oct 21 can gap through the stop. The sector trend still points down. Published by YTIlab · OMNISIGHT REPORT Not investment advice.
