Kaspa's own documentation is the most conservative voice in the room on Argent, the language people keep pointing at as proof that covenant apps are here. Its exact words: "Argent is early. Treat michaelsutton/argent as a design direction and prototype, not a production-stable API." The recommendation is to start production covenant work in Silverscript and borrow Argent's thinking rather than its compiler. Silverscript, meanwhile, still tells you to keep its bytecode on testnet-10 until a first stable release. Meanwhile the node repo has taken 12 commits since Toccata shipped on June 15. Consensus is done and quiet. Forty-six of Argent's sixty-four commits landed in July. That is what a healthy gap looks like: the rules are finished, the tools are not, and the people writing the tools say so first. $KAS
