$IWM is the pressure valve today. Not a growth scare. A rates flush running straight through negative gamma into Friday OpEx. Price sits under the $292 flip, dealers are short gamma, put/call at 2.06. In that setup weakness forces them to sell more weakness. No discretion, just structure. Small caps carry the floating-rate and refi exposure, so they absorb the duration hit first while the rest of the tape barely flinches. And credit stayed calm the entire time, which kills the recession read cold. Put wall at $286 is the line. Hold it and this stays a technical flush. Break it and the dealer unwind accelerates. Post-OpEx gamma reset plus any yield stabilization is the only swing factor that matters for a bounce. I'm treating any long as a relief trade off the pin, not a cycle call. Where's your line?
