⚠️ALERT: Injective hit by suspected $4.9 MILLION tied to its binary-options system. The attacker reportedly created 299 binary-options markets using a disabled oracle, triggering Injective’s refund mechanism. A bug allegedly let the attacker claim 2x the entitled refund, repeating the exploit across hundreds of markets to drain $4.9M. Injective halted block production for 3h 42m, deployed an emergency patch and restarted without a rollback. Nearly $5M was reportedly moved to Ethereum, while Injective has yet to officially confirm the exploit.
