Injective has just completed its latest mainnet upgrade, bringing block times below 0.6 seconds. But what caught my attention wasn't the speed. It was the focus on interoperability, staking, and new on-chain revenue rails. A few years ago, blockchains competed on TPS and execution speed. Today, with high performance becoming the norm across many chains, being a few milliseconds faster is no longer enough to stand out. That's why I think these upgrades matter. They aren't just improving performance. They're strengthening the foundations that make an ecosystem work better, enabling smoother asset connectivity, more efficient staking, and new ways for applications to generate on-chain revenue. To me, that's the biggest takeaway from this upgrade. Not just a faster blockchain, but a stronger foundation for the ecosystem to keep growing. @injective
