Microsoft's Chief Legal Officer told the French Senate he can't guarantee French citizen data won't go to the US without consent. A shocking public admission, on the record. This isn't negligence. It's the US CLOUD Act. It compels American companies to hand over data on request, irrespective of where data is stored or what European law dictates. A data center in Paris with a Microsoft nameplate changes nothing. Nor does any "sovereignty addendum" in enterprise agreements. The real issue is jurisdiction. The answer isn't a better contract. It's fundamentally different infrastructure, not subject to conflicting jurisdictions. This is where the Internet Computer truly shines. 🚀
