Ascend: Token Launch and Lifecycle Infrastructure for Elysium @AscendLaunch is building token launch and lifecycle infrastructure for Elysium, connecting builders, traders, and HYPE stakers through a shared economic model. One shared economic model HYPE rewards holding. Ascend takes that idea further. Builders launch tokens and earn a share of trading fees. HYPE holders can stake through Ascend to earn HYPE rewards, while traders are rewarded for the activity they bring to the ecosystem. The token lifecycle Ascend is designed to give projects a path from launch to more advanced markets. • Launch: Tokens launch through closed hook pools, with USDC as the quote asset. • Ascended: Qualifying projects can receive ecosystem buybacks and a homepage spotlight. • HyperCore Spot: Treasury-held tokens help seed liquidity. • HIP-3 Perps: Projects can progress toward perpetual markets through Kinetiq’s HIP-3 venue. Each stage has its own requirements, and progression is never guaranteed. Where the 1% trading fee goes Every launched token pays a 1% trading fee. For a default launch, 25% goes to the deployer and 75% goes to net protocol revenue. For launches involving an approved creator or takeover operator, the split becomes 50% for the creator or operator and 50% for net protocol revenue. Swap fees are separate, so the 1% fee isn’t the total cost of trading. How protocol revenue is allocated Net protocol revenue is split equally between HYPE and KNTQ purchases, with 50% allocated to each. The HYPE portion is then divided into four allocations: • 40% goes to protocol-owned HYPE staking. • 30% goes to ecosystem-token buybacks. • 20% goes to treasury and operations. • 10% goes to staker rewards. Yield generated by the protocol-owned HYPE stake is used to purchase ecosystem tokens, which are then burned. Where the KNTQ goes The other 50% of net protocol revenue goes toward KNTQ purchases. That allocation is divided as follows: • 60% is burned. • 20% is paired with kHYPE to provide liquidity. • 20% funds the Ascend Points program, which rewards users across seasons based on their activity. How staking works Users deposit HYPE and receive a kHYPE position. The staking yield generated is then used to purchase ecosystem tokens and fund staker distributions. This mechanism uses staking yield, not the original deposit or protocol fees. There is no fixed platform lockup, although withdrawal speed depends on the exit route and available liquidity. NFT boosts apply only to the direct HYPE reward pool. No Ascend token Ascend’s proposed economic model revolves around builders, HYPE, KNTQ, and qualifying ecosystem projects rather than a separate Ascend token. The goal is to connect token launches, trading activity, staking, and ecosystem growth within one system. These details are based on the proposed design outlined in Ascend’s September 2026 litepaper.
