HyperEVM gave EVM builders a way into Hyperliquid, but it wasn’t really built with high-frequency activity in mind. The dual-block setup, throughput limits, and swap costs that can reach around $20 create real friction. That’s where @Kinetiq_xyz is positioning Elysium. It’s an L2 built around Hyperliquid, using HYPE as gas and designed to work closely with HyperCore. But what catches my attention isn’t simply “a faster EVM.” The bigger question is whether Elysium can add value to Hyperliquid instead of pulling value away from it.
