GRVT Just Burned 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf. Now the Focus Shifts to Utility. @grvt_io has bought back and permanently burned 1.1 million ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf, representing nearly 1% of the circulating supply at the time. The important part? These tokens weren’t moved into a treasury for future use. They’re gone from circulation, and the buyback, burn, and transaction hashes are available through a public dashboard for anyone to verify. Future buybacks are planned on a monthly basis, but remain discretionary. That distinction matters: execution is what builds confidence, not promises. Now, Grvt 2.0 is where things get more interesting. The goal is to bring trading and earning together in one self-custodial platform. The feature I’m watching most closely is Yield as Margin, planned for November. The idea is simple: eligible assets in your Earn balance could potentially serve as trading margin while continuing to generate yield. Instead of splitting capital between earning and trading, users could put the same funds to work more efficiently. The token burn is a solid start. But the bigger test is whether Grvt can turn that momentum into a better product and a stronger user experience. Tokenomics can get attention. Real utility is what keeps people around.
