How does @Starknet hash-based proofs help Starknet adapt? STARK helps protect the process of proving the correctness of a calculation; it doesn't automatically protect every component of the blockchain. STARK stands for Scalable Transparent Arguments of Knowledge. It's a type of cryptographic proof that allows one party to prove that a calculation has been performed correctly, so another party can verify the proof without having to perform the entire calculation again. Starknet uses STARK proof technology to verify calculations performed outside of Ethereum before the corresponding state is accepted by the system's verification mechanism.
